Creating and executing strategies for dozens, hundreds, or thousands of locations.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is complex work. Even for single location small businesses, the rabbit hole goes deeper than you might think. A larger business with multiple locations muddies the waters even more.
Does your online presence maximize SEO opportunities? Do searches yield locally relevant results? Are your locations consistent and accurate across various listings? If you don’t know or aren’t sure, we can help. Unlike many SEO firms, we have direct experience and proven results with multi-location businesses.
Yes, we’ve done this before, thanks for asking!
We started working with Scott and the CottageCare team in March 2017. Their website was built pretty well but during our initial audit, we found a lot of room for improvement. We implemented our recommendations all while taking care of all of their location’s local listings.
We then began identifying unique ways of obtaining reviews for each location. Email templates, SMS messaging, handouts, and third-party services, we tried it all until we found the right fit.
After evaluating all local competitor’s, we began executing local link building campaigns to help drive local traffic.

Where do I begin? It’s all so incredibly perfect!
I have worked with quite a few people in this industry, one of them supposedly one of the biggest names in the SEO game, but no one has even come close to matching the knowledge and professionalism of Blake and his team at RicketyRoo.
Having a bunch of different service locations in varying markets across the US and Canada makes it difficult work of developing plans that are effective across the board but the plan they have put into motion is genius and working SO WELL!
Beyond the obvious knowledge of SEO and implementation strategies, the communication is as good as I’ve ever had with anyone. They are also EAGER to see results in your business and genuinely give a shit.
I cannot recommend RicketyRoo enough! Really, you can’t go wrong here!
How we improve your visibility
Remember the old yellow pages? Well, there are hundreds of online listing websites offering the same services. The more localized a search is (e.g. “hair salons Dayton”), the more likely it is that search results will link back to these services. We’ll make sure that ALL of your locations have consistent and accurate business data in these listings, with no confusing duplicates or missing entries.
Online Reputation Management
You can only do so much to prevent negative reviews. However, there’s a lot you can do to earn positive ones. If you don’t have processes for earning good reviews, you’re missing out on one of the most critical aspects of reputation-building: social proof. We’ll help your team at each location develop a market- and audience-specific review strategy to make you look like the best game in town.
Technical & On-site SEO
Let’s say you have a business with ten locations called Greengrass Landscaping. Your biggest competitor in Whoville is Ken’s Landscaping, which has only one. Someone searches for “landscaping in Whoville” and your corporate website comes up first. Ken’s is second. Woohoo!
Not so fast. Ken’s listing in Google says “50 Years Serving Greater Whoville” but yours says “Greengrass Landscaping, Inc.” To get to the website for your Whoville location, the searcher has to click into your corporate site, click the “locations” page, and enter their ZIP code.
Or… They can click Ken’s and get on with their afternoon.
Your homepage won’t rank for all of your locations, but the right location pages will. We’ll optimize your ranking for every location you serve through locally relevant content and organization.
Finally, we’ll use proven strategies to earn local links to each respective location. The more local sources that refer to local pages, the more relevant Google considers those pages to be. More relevance means better ranking.
When you buy a car, you’re buying it from a name like McNeil Ford, not Ford Motor Company. Locality matters. A lot. We’ll work with your multi-location business to help grow your corporate online presence alongside your local brands.
